Bill -

Thanks! Bob and his Subgenius were something a college roomate turned me onto about the same period as well.

The 968 is an interesting car, didn't know too much about it other then the evolution of the 944's. Looked online and you could be right on, not a lot here in the states so could definitly be something for the investment cars.

Hi Sandy,

Big fan of you, Adam and the casts. Also, am a car nut and 20 year-plus Subgenius - Hail "Bob!"

Wanted to nominate my car as affordable collectible: '94 Porsche 968. Sees a lot of track time at Watkins Glen and Lime Rock in the summers here in upstate NY.

Anyway, just a quick fan letter!

best,

Bill

I think the long wait is over, OOMA has release their new phone system. www.ooma.com looks pretty good. I think they are still pending release of the the wireless headset part.

Sam, thanks for the heads up on the Dichloromethane. I work with powder coatings all the time and I am familiar with many hazardous material surrounding the application of industrial coatings. I would have filed the gasket remover tip away for future use without ever looking at its contents.

Yep, I love going to bob's with the kids. Walk around, check out some cars and enjoy some Bob's food ;). They are a good business that gives back with donations as well as the new solar power they just put up. And it's still a fun pace to go even when crowded!

The cruise nights at Bob's Big Boy in Burbank are great. It is a terrific way for me and my family to spend a Friday night together although keeping the kids from touching the cars is sometimes a challenge. It is great to hear not only Bob's in Burbank in celebrating their 60th Anniversary, but also has gone solar. I for one appreciate they are trying to do their part to help the environment.

I can’t tell you how many times I have wanted to smash into a Prius. Most of the time it is because they have some eco-my-energy-savings-is-better-than-yours bumper sticker on their “car.”

Your post brought a smile to my face.
