In a conversation with one of the folks that got the ticket for talking on the cell phone, he mentioned that the ticket was not 20 bucks, or 50 bucks but as I recall 95 bucks (Might have been 75, but I can remember now). What happened to the 'Base Fine'. Seems some where along the way our California DMV has some extra processing fees beyond the BASE FINE. So now I'll hide the phone better... And California is Bankrupt...How is that possible.
