California Bans Motorists From Texting – It’s Genius

Arnold Schwarzenegger has banned motorists from sending, writing or reading messages on electronic devices starting Jan. 1st. Schwarzenegger signed legislation Wednesday that imposes a $20 fine for a first offense of texting while driving and a $50 fine for any subsequent violation”
Wow good thing they figured this out. I guess I won’t be able to write any more FLog entries while stuck in traffic on the way home from work. What, it took an extra 6 months for our esteemed California legislature to figure out that people use their cell phones for other things then talking?
Let me wipe out about, I’m going to take a guess at 20 laws on the books in one shot. Here goes -
