Willow Springs April 19-20, 2008 LA Shelby Club

Submitted by on March 5, 2008 – 6:59 amOne Comment

Time for the Annual Spring Open Track with the Los Angeles Shelby Club. The Track is The Streets of Willow. Instructors available at no charge, as well as a super low cost event for 2 days of racing.

Cost is $195 for members or $205 for non members (Membership is only $28, most all car types welcome too)

Pictures and more info at www.LASAAC.org

This is a good event, friendly folks, good mix of cars from imports to vintage Shelby’s and more track time for 200 bucks then you can stand.

Well, Made it to the event, no car (The Ripper is still broken), but I did bring up a ChaseCam recorder and lipstick cam with the suction cup mount and only took a little arm twisting to get it mounted on a nice early Porsche RS Clone. A really nice race car that was taking it easy on the streets. Thanks to Gilbert for the use of his car! The video is now hosted up at the Motorator. You can catch a GT350 clone, a couple of M3′s (one later spins) good footage!

Below is the direct link, and don’t for got to poke around on the Motorator for a bunch of other cool videos I posted of
The Ripper and a collection of other Shelby Junk ;-)
